The piece would not look out of place in the House of Commons. This was not missed by Gill Saunders, the head curator at the V&A, who has taken it for the V&A permanant collection.

Rebellion 3

Rebellion 3 Silver Dollar is a wallpaper that has hand applied silver grounds and a screen printed repeat pattern of the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber in black. These colours give the visual feel of the American Dollar.
The B-2’s represent the corporation sponsored Governments and the eyes, ears and mouths symbolise the eavesdropping and propaganda bombardment we all suffer from on social media platforms.

Rebellion 4

[When Poets Ruled The Streets]
Called “When poets ruled the streets” the red grounds are engraved with anti government slogans, overprinted with images of militarised police “taking control” of the streets. The top tiled design, printed in gold, gives you an overall feeling this wallpaper would be at home on the walls of some government establishment or privileged club room still reflecting Victorian values.

Confession

The “Confession” Series was inspired by spending Holy Week in Valencia, Spain.
In three colour ways, Pearl, Gold and Blue, the shroud is a monoprint directly applied into the pearl grounds and the confessional grill, screenprinted in purple has been designed using symbolism of the Catholic Church.

Wohwod

[World of hate, world of dreams]

Mono printed into the black and glitter grounds, are the lyrics to Cock Sparrers song, “because you’re young” the inspiration for this dark peice.

Because you’re young, you’re torn between A world of hate and a world of dreams So much to lose, so much to gain So much to fight for, so much to change You don’t look back, you don’t look down You gotta turn everything around You live your life like a loaded gun Because you’re young

The rest is self explanatory really. Seen here exhibited in Atom Gallery, Nth London.
